Ingredients for Roasted Balsamic Maple Brussels Sprouts
1 ½ pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
3 tablespoons Olive oil
2 tablespoons Butter
3 cloves Garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoons Maple syrup (optional, for a touch of sweetness)
How to Make Roasted Balsamic Maple Brussels Sprouts
Prep: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Next, let’s chop up the brussels sprouts. First, I cut the bottom off, then remove outer leaves.
Cut each in half.
Place the halved Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet, then drizzle with olive oil, balsamic vinegar. Add the minced garlic, and season with salt and pepper. Toss or mix with your hands.
Roast: Spread the Brussels sprouts in an even layer, cut-side down to caramelize. Dot butter pieces around sprouts.
Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway, until they’re golden brown and crispy on the edges.
